Seton Hall University proudly announces a game-changing partnership as Kelsey Carr, a rising star in the Softball program, steps up to the plate with a significant NIL deal with ZIYNX. Carr's exceptional performance on the field and her commitment to excellence have now caught the attention of ZIYNX, a brand synonymous with innovation and performance.
A standout on the field and in the classroom, Kelsey Carr earned a spot on the 2021 and 2022 BIG EAST All-Academic Team, showcasing her dedication to both academics and athletics. In her freshman season in 2021, Carr made an immediate impact, playing in all 25 games, starting 24 of them. As a dual threat, she showcased her prowess at the plate and in the circle. During this freshman campaign, Carr drove in 14 runs on 17 hits, featuring six doubles and two home runs. Her versatility was further evident in the circle, where she appeared in 20 games, notching four complete games and an impressive 70 strikeouts, ranking in the top 10 in the BIG EAST. Her dominance continued with a complete game, one-hit shutout against St. John's, coupled with another complete game where she surrendered just one run, totaling 15 strikeouts in 14 innings of one-run ball. Carr's all-around excellence was further highlighted with a memorable performance against Villanova, where she went 3-for-5 with three doubles, three runs driven in, and the game-winning run in 10 innings.
Now, Kelsey Carr adds another accolade to her impressive resume as she secures a partnership with ZIYNX through the NCAA's Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) program. ZIYNX, a brand known for its commitment to performance and innovation, recognizes Carr as a rising star and an ideal ambassador for their vision.
